Testing the blogging widget

Have found the wonder that are widgets. When Tiger first came out the widgets were just awful, but with creative minds and folks like those at Dashboardwidgets.com, the widgets are better than ever. This little guy, the Dashblog is a joy. Let's hope it remains so by allowing me to post this entry.

On the long car ride home (and while listening to my podcasts on my iPod) I came up with segments we can host at 3rdlegpress.com. Segments like, "My Fag Hag and Me" where Fred and I can simply play back one of our recorded conversations. "This day in Sex News" is another segment idea as well as the "Sex Word of the Week" and "Porn of the week". We will have one story read each month that's new and some may even be able to download porn flicks to their iPod Nano. Not the entire movie, of course, just tantalizing tidbits that will make them want to rush to the video store and rent and/or buy the copy. We can have forums where people can review their favorite porn film and if we get a Skype number we can even have folks submit voicemail messages that we can post on the site.

So many ideas and still not enough (if anything) up on the site. We did manage to upload two stories to the shop for people to download now, but we still have a lot of work to do.

No we're not dead...

Just busy and easily distracted by all the porn we're researching. Yep... research, that's what we're doing. But with websites like Beautiful Agony and A Different Light Bookstore is no wonder we're still researching. We've done a redesign on the splash page and are adding content to the site, but we're not moving fast enough it seems.

In other news, we have plans to incorporate several mediums to provide our content to our members so we're looking into Podcasting (porncasting) as well as audio and e-books. We've got a ways to go, but we hope to launch in November.
